SYNOPSIS: Bollywood drama following the breakdown of a once happy family. Amar (Sunil Dutt) is content with his life with his wife, Malti (Meena Kumari), and their young son. He is employed by Prakash (Ashok Kumar), a kind man that would love a family of his own. One day Amar tries to prevent a crime but is later killed by one of the culprits. Distraught, Malti tells her son that his father is not dead, but is recovering in hospital. As time passes, Malti becomes involved with Prakash, which leads Malti’s son to believe that Prakash split his parents up. The boy becomes enraged and determines the only way to reuinte his family is to kill Prakash.
