“Anmol Ghadi” is a sweet love story filled with innocence of years gone by. Poor boy Chandrabhan (Surendra) and rich girl Lata (Noorjehan) are childhood sweethearts who are separated when Lata’s family moves to Bombay. At the time of parting, she gifts him a pocket watch as a memento. A grown-up Chandra still ardently treasures the pocket watch. He comes to Bombay when his friend Prakash (Zahur Raja) gives him a job in a musical instruments shop. Basanti (Suraiya) a rich and vivacious girl falls in love with Chandra. But, he is only interested in finding Lata. By now, Lata has turned a writer, her work published under the pen -name “Renuka Devi”. Eventually Lata and Chandra meet but by the time they recognize each other, it is too late as Lata is already engaged to Prakash… Will Chandra sacrifice his love for his friend or will he re-unite with Lata ? And what about Basanti? Watch this evergreen Musical Hit that has gained Vintage status with every passing year.
