SUMMARY:  This is the story of a young man Vijay (Rajnikanth) whose father was murdered and his sister raped and killed. This crime was committed by three rowdies (Pran, Prem Chopra, Danny) when Vijay was a small boy then. But the atrocities done on his family kindled the fire of Vendetta in his heart from then only. His other sister Devi Singh (Hema Malini) who was also an eye witness to, this horror also wanted to punish these criminals. But according to law.
