AT LAST! A rare, truly emotive gem which shines a light on the social conditions many in India face each day. It takes heavy subjects but approaches them light heartedly at times (plenty of running jokes) and brilliantly, which allows you to understand the important messages clearly. The story is beautifully told from different aspects whilst seamlessly dealing with the heavy themes. Each character has great chemistry and I was fully engaged throughout. I laughed, swore, got angry, emotional, worried and those are just the reactions I remember. We need more films like this which tell a real, relatable story. Such a shame it has taken so long for India to realise how important these stories are, let’s have more!
